Meet Yara
Yara’s journey is a testament to the power of community and second chances. After experiencing homelessness, Yara connected with Tracy CCC and found the support she needed to rebuild her life.
Today, Yara proudly serves on the Tracy CCC Board of Directors. She recently celebrated one year of sobriety — a milestone that reflects her incredible strength and determination. She’s thriving at work, where she was recently honored with an award for her dedication and contributions.
Having moved out of homelessness, Yara now volunteers at our shower program, giving back to the very community that helped lift her up. Her story embodies what Seeds of Second Chances is all about — with the right support, transformation is possible.

Donate Safe Stays Credits, which directly go toward free motel nights for our clients. This gives TCCC a simple, immediate way to help those in crisis access safe emergency shelter.
